FAIRTRADE TEA PARTY

The Fairtrade Tea Party held on Saturday 27th February attracted over seventy visitors.

Diana Manasseh who had travelled from Ghana and Jim and Peter from Whin Hill Cider delivered excellent presentations which were very well received. There was an opportunity for questions and a number of visitors used this chance to seek clarification of some points. Delicious home made cakes using Fairtrade ingredients and Fairtrade Tea or Coffee were greatly appreciated by those who attended. There were quiz sheets and free samples of Fairtrade products available for those wanting to give Fairtrade a chance.
