WAFT steering group are pleased to report
that our planted Fairtrade logo is growing well, we could say Fairtrade is
blooming in Wells! Its central position in Staithe Street is a reminder to
Wells residents and visitors alike that Wells –next-the-Sea is a Fairtrade
Town, with an increasing number of Fairtrade certified products on sale in the
local shops.
We are very grateful to our sponsors who made
the whole thing possible, the late Mrs Clodd and Ms Trish le Gal.
We also thank Sally at Mermaids Purse for
providing us with the prime position for our display, and Marilyn Jefferys for
producing the sign for the front of the planting box.

Landscapes.
Finally our thanks to Wells in Bloom for
advice and encouragement in the early stages of our project.
